Provide L2/L3 production support for critical financial applications focusing on liquidity reporting and trade lifecycle processes, ensuring system uptime and performance.
Monitor, diagnose, and resolve incidents involving trade capture, batch processing, market data feeds, pricing engines, and risk analytics using tools like Autosys, Unix, and enterprise monitoring platforms.
Lead root cause analysis and drive continuous service improvement initiatives including support automation, collaborating with infrastructure and engineering teams on capacity and performance management.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of hands-on application/production support experience with at least 2 years in a senior/advanced role.
Technical expertise in Unix/Linux shell scripting, advanced SQL (Oracle or equivalent), ETL (preferably Ab Initio), and Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
Experience with job scheduling/workload automation tools like Autosys and log/system monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, AWP, Airflow, or Splunk.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in financial services domain with strong knowledge of financial instruments, trade lifecycles, and regulatory reporting workflows (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.).
Proficient in multi-tier application environment involving stored procedures, SSIS, SSRS, and data pipeline troubleshooting.
Capable of managing high-priority incidents in fast-paced environments and engaging in change and release management, with practical ITIL framework experience.
