Support compliance with EU and UK GDPR and other privacy laws by maintaining data protection policies, procedures, and records.
Assist with privacy risk identification, data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), data subject rights requests, and personal data breach incident management.
Coordinate privacy audits, vendor assurance activities, and provide updates on privacy risks and compliance status to internal teams.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of experience in data protection, privacy, compliance, or a related area.
Good understanding of GDPR principles including individual rights, accountability, data breaches, processors, and international transfers.
Legal knowledge of UK and EU GDPR requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience handling DPIAs, assessing privacy risks, and documenting risk mitigation actions.
Proven ability to manage data subject rights requests and maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) accurately.
Comfortable supporting incident investigation, escalation, and remediation of personal data breaches within a governance framework.
