Sr. Principal Systems/Software Engineer

Design and develop organization-wide software architectures and strategies across multiple platforms within the Global Business Unit.

Influence technology roadmaps by recommending new technologies and managing integration plans aligned with business value.

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and consultation across projects and business units, contributing to product quality improvements and innovation including patents.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Typically 12+ years of relevant work experience in software system design and development.

Experience leading the architecture of software systems across multiple platforms with a strong innovation record (e.g., patents).

Hybrid role with average 2 days per week onsite work at an HPE office.

Proven technical authority capable of providing strategic direction and influencing executive-level decisions in software system design.

History of innovation in software architecture demonstrated by multiple patents or field-deployed solutions.

Experienced mentor and leader comfortable collaborating across functions and guiding less-experienced staff.
