Application Engineer, Vice President

Lead development, architecture, and design of distributed, event-driven client reporting platform with emphasis on scale, accuracy, and resiliency.

Drive modernization and AI-enabled engineering practices including safe and scalable LLM integration across global teams.

Manage stakeholders and deliver strategic platform capabilities covering backend, frontend, APIs, microservices, and high-throughput data systems.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

7+ years of progressive software engineering experience with proven leadership of teams or major platforms.

Strong expertise in Java, Python, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, SQL/NoSQL, and event streaming technologies.

Experience with AI integration in engineering workflows; exposure to cloud-native and DevOps practices (OCI container, container orchestration, CI/CD).

Experienced engineering leader skilled in designing large-scale, real-time distributed systems and microservices aligned with enterprise strategy.

Proficient in integrating AI technologies including LLMs and AI-assisted software development lifecycle practices into production platforms.

Effective cross-functional influencer capable of managing global teams and translating complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
