Develop and execute comprehensive test cases in collaboration with the software development team for ensuring software quality.
Participate actively in Agile-Scrum processes, providing feedback to improve testing and development cycles.
Maintain documentation of testing activities and use bug-tracking tools to efficiently report and manage issues.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in functional testing and proficiency in manual testing including functional, integration, and regression tests.
Strong logical and aptitude skills with good command over SQL queries used for testing and validation.
Understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle (DLC); familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
Work Location: Mohali (must work in-office 5 days a week); ISTQB certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Comfortable working in Agile-Scrum environments and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure quality standards.
Ability and willingness to engage with high-profile or large client projects, ensuring rigorous testing standards and quality gatekeeping.
Familiarity with using AI tools in testing, performance and security testing skills, and knowledge of TDD/BDD testing frameworks preferred for a strategic fit.
