Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Python REST APIs and backend services on Microsoft Azure, including containerization and deployment on AKS.
Own full service lifecycle including development, deployment, monitoring, production support, and incident troubleshooting ensuring reliability and observability in production.
Build and maintain MCP servers to expose enterprise capabilities to AI agents, combining backend engineering with modern GenAI integration.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of professional backend development experience focused on Python.
Strong experience with FastAPI, async programming, and API versioning.
Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services: AKS, Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis, and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency with ability to communicate directly with US-based stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in cloud-native backend development in a production environment with scalable system design and observability.
Familiarity or strong ability to learn FastMCP or MCP server development and integration with LLM-based AI applications.
Comfortable collaborating with US client stakeholders, architects, frontend engineers, and QA in an agile delivery environment.
