Lead and manage a team of platform engineers to build and support Azure cloud platform solutions, spending approximately 50% of time on leadership activities and 50% hands-on coding and automation.
Design, develop, and implement complex cloud services focusing on Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones, self-service automation, SRE principles, and infrastructure as code.
Collaborate with architects, product managers, and other engineers to refine product roadmap, participate in decision-making around networking, security, disaster recovery, and ensure operational excellence including incident response.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience designing, developing, and implementing cloud and hybrid Azure Platform solutions, including Azure administration, development, or DevOps roles.
Experience leading and mentoring cloud engineering teams or communities of practice.
Proficiency with Azure cloud native components, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitLab), and agile methodologies.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in hands-on Azure platform engineering with strong leadership capabilities to manage and grow high-performing technical teams.
Knowledgeable in Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework with ability to integrate SRE principles and automation.
Comfortable working in a product-centric, agile environment within financial markets or comparable regulated domain.
