Clearing and Settlement Operator

Support settlement and reconciliation tasks across multiple markets, including CREST, focusing on accurate and timely trade settlements.

Coordinate with various internal teams (Client Services, Network Management, Tax, UAT support, Static Data, Reconciliations) to ensure end-to-end service delivery for MMA UK region clients.

Monitor workflows, escalate issues appropriately, assist in process re-engineering and improvements, and provide backups for team management duties.

Education: MBA or Bachelor's degree in Finance-related subjects; MBA preferred; securities certification is an advantage.

Work Experience: 2-4 years in securities, settlements, reconciliation, or custodian-related activities within Investment Banks, Custodians, or Security market intermediaries.

Expertise in CREST market and experience working with Global Custodians is preferred.

Excellent communication, analytical, written and presentation skills are required.

Experienced in securities settlement operations with practical knowledge of CREST and global custody environment, suitable for technical coordination roles.

Capable of independently managing escalations, process analysis and re-engineering, with demonstrated ability to improve operational workflows.

Proven ability to utilize AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity and problem-solving in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
