Jr Business Analyst ( US Healthcare )

Translate complex US healthcare workflows (payer processes) into detailed requirements, BRDs, user stories, and process maps owned end-to-end from discovery through delivery.

Lead customer discovery sessions to capture workflows, pain points, and opportunities for automation including AI-enabled steps, partnering with technical teams to design solutions and integrations.

Manage requirements lifecycle including Jira ticketing, test strategy collaboration, scope change control, and ensuring stakeholder alignment and client-ready documentation.

2-5 years professional experience in healthcare business analysis or related roles focused on payer processes and healthtech implementation.

Strong knowledge of healthcare operations with direct payer process experience and working knowledge of HIPAA and safe PHI handling.

Proficient in requirements gathering, creating BRDs, workflows, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process-mapping tools.

Experience with Jira and practical use of AI tools in professional work; strong client-facing communication and organizational skills.

Experienced in payer healthcare domain with ability to decompose complex clinical and operational workflows (UM, Prior Auth, Appeals, Care Management).

Technically fluent in AI concepts (LLMs, OCR, RAG) and healthcare integration technologies (APIs, SFTP, FHIR/HL7 familiar is a plus).

Operates with structured curiosity and ownership, able to manage ambiguity and evolving priorities in a fast-moving startup environment.
