Head - Project and Indirect Procurement

Lead and manage the Project and Indirect Procurement teams, overseeing category managers for sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance.

Drive sourcing strategies, contract negotiation and execution, cost optimization, and compliance for project-related and indirect spend categories.

Act as a strategic partner for project teams and senior leadership, providing governance and commercial guidance while delivering annual procurement savings and developing the procurement team.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or related discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.

15+ years of procurement and contracts management experience with 5+ years leading Project and Indirect Category manager teams.

Proven experience managing both project procurement (capital equipment) and indirect procurement categories.

Location: Pune; Industry experience preferably in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, energy, infrastructure, or project-driven sectors.

Experienced leader able to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed procurement teams.

Strong background in contract negotiation, category management, and building strategic supplier relationships aligned with global procurement policies.

Comfortable operating in project-driven and industrial environments with focus on cost optimization, supplier innovation, and governance.
