Manage daily tapeout operations including Design Rule Checking, Mask Data Preparation, and data validation to ensure 100% quality and best-in-class cycle times.
Collaborate with internal teams and global tapeout operations to develop and implement efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and faster cycle times.
Collect tapeout metrics and KPIs, develop action plans for deviations, automate tapeout processes using scripting, and maintain tapeout FMEAs and training materials.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering with specialization in VLSI, Microelectronics or related fields.
0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) in Bengaluru with shift flexibility (Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat).
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Familiarity with Linux commands, directory structures, and job scheduling using LSF.
Basic scripting skills in Python, Shell, TCL, and knowledge of MySQL for process automation.
Exposure to EDA tools such as Mentor Graphics Siemens, Synopsys, or Cadence is advantageous.
