Own installation, configuration, administration, and support of data platform components across Development, QA, and Production environments in on-premises VMware infrastructure.
Deploy and manage MinIO (+ Apache Iceberg) and either Starburst or Dremio platforms, ensuring secure integration with IAM, PAM, and Git.
Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades, backups, and maintain operational documentation and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
3–5 years of professional experience in Data Platforms, Data Infrastructure, or similar technical roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Hands-on experience deploying and administering Data Platform components on on-premises VMware infrastructure.
Experience with MinIO (+ Apache Iceberg) and Starburst or Dremio, plus integration with IAM/PAM enterprise security components.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing multi-environment data platforms (Development, QA, Production) with strong operational ownership.
Technical expertise in enterprise on-premises data lake or data lakehouse environments using MinIO and Starburst/Dremio.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams involving Data, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps for platform deployment and support.
