Software Engineer, GCP & Java, VP

Design, develop, test, and implement resilient, long-lived software leveraging Agile methods within a permanent feature team.

Collaborate with principal engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand and support platform business objectives.

Lead automation of build, test, and deployment workflows focusing on cloud-native and scalable microservices architecture.

Minimum 12 years of Java development experience including Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API design, and scalable service development.

At least 8 years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, GKE, and Cloud SQL, plus infrastructure modernization and cloud-native migration expertise.

Strong understanding of Market Risk concepts such as Value at Risk (VaR), market data processing, and time-series data management.

Experience applying AI and Machine Learning techniques to test automation, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization.

Experienced in full stack enterprise platform development with emphasis on scalable Java microservices and APIs aligned to enterprise architecture.

Comfortable translating complex Market Risk business requirements into technical solutions while collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders.

Proficient in innovating and prototyping to deliver intentional architecture and emergent design within Agile development cycles.
