About This Role
- Design, implement, and test software subsystems and components primarily using C++, VC++, MFC, and Java.
- Develop and maintain systems-level software including Serial/USB communication code for Windows and Linux environments.
- Work with development tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2017+, Subversion, and GitHub in a Windows/Linux development environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering required.
- 3 to 6+ years of relevant software development experience required.
- Proficiency in C++, VC++, MFC, Java and experience with Serial/USB programming on Windows/Linux mandatory.
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or later and familiarity with version control tools like Subversion/GitHub required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in system-level software design and development with focus on embedded communication protocols like RS232/USB.
- Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments developing device-level software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills to handle complex software component design and testing.
