Lead and provide technical guidance on ISO26262 functional safety aspects for power electronics sub-systems including Transmission, Inverter, DC-DC converter, and On-board Charger.
Own development of Functional Safety Requirements, Technical Safety Concept, Hardware and Software Safety Requirements for electrification product line.
Collaborate with system and hardware architects to define system architecture and product design, manage requirements and support functional safety verification testing.
Minimum Requirements
8 to 10 years total work experience with minimum 4 years in Functional Safety covering TSC, FSR, TSR, HSR and SSR development.
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Power Electronics, Electronics, Communication, or Electrical Engineering.
Hands-on experience and deep expertise in ISO26262, including experience with external audits and gap analysis.
Practical knowledge of power electronics controllers used in battery management, inverter management, motor maneuvering & position sensing, on-board charger and DC-DC conversion.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced leader with strong expertise in functional safety standards and ability to drive cross-functional teams globally.
Strong background in power electronics system architecture and embedded system design relevant to automotive electrification.
Proficient in liaising with customers and managing requirements using tools like Polarion, with proven capability in safety compliance and testing processes.
