Build and maintain Mastercard's Data Commercialization Platform's self-service and control layer to replace manual multi-team request processes with automated, governed web solutions.
Develop full-stack software spanning front-end (React, TypeScript/JavaScript) and back-end (Java, Spring Boot) in a multi-cloud environment provisioning and governing cloud and lakehouse infrastructure.
Own integrations involving cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), data and lakehouse platforms (Databricks, Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake), and AI-powered capabilities including workflow orchestration and automation frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of experience building scalable software using distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
Strong expertise in Java (Core Java, Spring Boot), front-end development with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
Deep hands-on cloud engineering experience on AWS and/or Azure including Kubernetes, networking, IAM, storage, security, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and observability.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced full-stack engineer with strong backend and frontend skills in cloud-native environments and scalable platform development.
Proficient in modern data platforms, lakehouse technologies, workflow orchestration, and AI-powered application development.
Comfortable evaluating technical trade-offs, contributing to architecture/design discussions, and effectively communicating complex solutions to cross-functional stakeholders.
