Primary ownership of enterprise Storage & Backup operations, including support, automation, configuration, and ongoing management using NetApp, Isilon, Rubrik, and Netbackup technologies.
Perform maintenance following vendor best practices and company change management policies while ensuring service scalability, compliance, reliability, and security.
Participate in 24x7 SME-level on-call support, root cause analysis, build AI-automation solutions for storage/backup tasks, and directly resolve user support issues.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or Master’s degree with 3+ years in Information Systems related to Storage, Backup, Java Hosting, Web Hosting, or Linux administration with scripting skills in Ansible, Python, or Bash.
5+ years experience with NetApp, DellEMC Isilon, and DR/BCM replication technologies; 3+ years with on-prem storage, backup, and archiving solutions plus cloud backup/archiving (AWS preferred).
Experience with backup/data protection technology Rubrik including replication cluster setup.
This is an on-site position based in Hyderabad; candidates must be willing to work outside standard hours as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in enterprise-level on-prem and cloud storage and backup systems with proven skills in NetApp, Isilon, Rubrik technologies and data replication.
Skilled in scripting and automation (Powershell, Python, REST APIs, ServiceNow workflows) to improve operational efficiency.
Able to work within regulated environments, preferably Life Sciences, with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and operational discipline in dynamic 24x7 support settings.
