Build and operate large-scale compute, storage, and networking infrastructure powering a high-transaction payments app (~10M daily transactions, 1B+ API requests/day).
Design and roll out platform contracts, reusable infrastructure as code, and Kubernetes clusters functioning as the platform's operating system, ensuring reliability, observability, and automated safe provisioning.
Lead medium-to-large infrastructure projects end-to-end, manage multi-team dependencies, own SLIs/SLOs, incident response, cost optimization, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release patterns with security compliance.
Minimum Requirements
3-6 years experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with ownership of production systems.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments (EKS, GKE, or AKS).
Proficiency in cloud compute, Linux fundamentals, cloud networking design, Terraform or equivalent IaC tooling, programming in Python or Go, and CI/CD with GitOps.
Experience with reliability practices (SLIs/SLOs, alerting, on-call, blameless postmortems).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing high-scale infrastructure (>10M daily transactions), comfortable with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle and extending platform capabilities via custom APIs.
Strong strategic understanding of platform engineering focused on creating self-serve primitives and frictionless internal platform adoption.
Demonstrated ability to own infrastructure projects across diverse teams, balancing operational excellence, compliance, and cost-efficiency in payment or compliance-heavy environments.
