About This Role

Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on mainframe systems.

Refactor legacy code to enable integration and migration with modern cloud and mobile applications.

Monitor architecture for optimization opportunities and debug complex system interactions to maintain mission-critical application performance.

Minimum Requirements

Experience as a software engineer on complex software projects with strong coding skills in Java, Python, React, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript or similar.

Proficient with software development methodologies for scalable and robust software.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.

Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging queues, OOP, and design patterns.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in mainframe modernization and bridging legacy systems with cloud technologies.

Comfortable working in an environment combining legacy mainframe systems with modern software engineering practices.

Familiar with DevOps tools and modern engineering workflows, possessing or willing to obtain hyperscaler certifications (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
