About This Role
- Own end-to-end delivery of major Compliance Operations platform features powering KYC, AML, Sanctions Screening, Product Safety & Tax compliance globally.
- Develop scalable, resilient distributed backend applications including APIs, event processing, batch jobs, and integrate ML models into production.
- Ensure high code quality via TDD and code reviews; mentor junior developers; support production releases and site-wide upgrades for security and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s in Computer Science or related with 2+ years experience OR Bachelor’s with 5+ years relevant experience.
- 5+ years designing and developing distributed systems using Java 17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Microservices, event processing (Kafka, JMS, MQ), RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Work Experience Required: 5+ years in relevant backend development and production support including incident response and troubleshooting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing high-throughput distributed compliance or regulatory backend systems at scale.
- Strong Java and Spring ecosystem expertise with practical ML model integration experience.
- Skilled in agile and DevOps practices including CI/CD, TDD, mentoring, and collaborating cross-functionally with product and data science teams.
