Associate Network Security Engineer

Administer and manage Next-Generation Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto Networks) including configuration, deployment, and daily operations.

Configure, tune, and monitor Web Application Firewalls and Application Security Management policies to protect applications against common threats.

Monitor network security logs, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize security policies to ensure secure and reliable SaaS platform infrastructure.

Approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in network security, network operations, or related technical support roles.

Practical experience managing and configuring Next-Generation Firewalls including rule creation, NAT policies, and log monitoring.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as OSI model, TCP/IP, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

General understanding of Web Application Firewalls, ASM modules, and web traffic security concepts including HTTP/HTTPS and SSL/TLS termination.

Comfortable working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to implement security policies and troubleshoot network issues.

Experienced in routine optimization of firewall rules and security policies focused on attack surface reduction and least-privilege access.

Familiar with network security frameworks like Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and standard ticketing/change management processes.
