Own database infrastructure modernization including planning and executing migrations to latest database versions on private and public cloud platforms (AWS primarily, also Gaia Cloud).
Ensure stable, efficient, and scalable database operations with 24/7 support for mission-critical applications, including post-migration performance optimization and troubleshooting.
Identify, design, and implement automation and AI-driven solutions for database performance monitoring, capacity management, incident analysis, and operational efficiency enhancement.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of applied experience with formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering disciplines.
Strong expertise in enterprise database technologies, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, Oracle Exadata, CockroachDB, MySQL, MSSQL, and particularly Oracle GoldenGate administration and replication.
Experience with cloud platforms, mandatory AWS; experience with Azure, GCP, OCI is a plus.
Proficiency in scripting languages (SQL, PL/SQL, PowerShell, Python, Shell) and knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD/infrastructure automation practices.
