Principal Software Engineer I

Lead malware analysis, reverse engineering, and behavioral threat detection development for enterprise endpoint security products.

Develop and validate detection signatures, conduct threat hunting, and perform root cause analysis for security incidents.

Document research findings, mentor junior researchers, collaborate with engineering teams, and present technical reports and product demos to stakeholders.

8+ years of experience in malware research, detection engineering or related cybersecurity roles.

Proficiency in dynamic and static malware analysis, reverse engineering, YARA rule development, and Windows internals.

Hands-on experience with tools like IDA Pro, Ghidra, x64dbg, and Windows runtime analysis utilities.

Location requirement: Pune (Joining location explicitly mentioned).

Experienced in comprehensive malware lifecycle analysis including behavioral detection and threat hunting on Windows platforms.

Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK framework mapping and skilled in developing telemetry-driven EDR/XDR detection content.

Able to produce technical documentation, deliver presentations, and lead knowledge sharing within cybersecurity research teams.
