Lead Software Engineer - Java, SpringBoot, AWS

Design, develop, and enhance trading tools and technical solutions across pre-trade, trade capture, and pricing domains in Fixed Income trading systems.

Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes while establishing coding and testing standards.

Develop and report metrics/KPIs for transformation initiatives, lead pilot projects for new technologies, and collaborate with trading, risk, and P&L teams to build scalable, robust solutions.

5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in Software Engineering.

Hands-on experience with Java or Python, Spring Boot, messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ, Tibco, AMPS), SQL/Stored Procedures, and AWS technologies.

Demonstrated leadership in adopting AI-assisted software development tools ensuring secure, performant, and compliant engineering workflows.

Experience working on complex projects in Fixed Income trading system domain, including system design, testing, and operational stability.

Experienced in Fixed Income trading systems and financial services technology environment with knowledge of trading, risk, and profit & loss processes.

Operational leader who can influence across complex matrixed organizations and lead technology transformation initiatives at scale.

Proficient in integrating AI-assisted development tools responsibly and mentoring teams on secure, compliant adoption within agile delivery practices.
