Own end-to-end software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for market-leading technology products within the Commercial and Investment Bank.
Lead cloud adoption initiatives and drive team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
Manage requirements, design documents, release activities, stakeholder communications, and provide L3 production support.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of applied experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
Strong Java development experience and proficiency in public cloud platforms.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Experience using AI-assisted software development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like GIT, Jira, Confluence, and Wiki.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced technical leader capable of setting team standards for responsible AI-assisted software engineering practices and mentoring on secure coding and validation.
Hands-on with cloud infrastructure and automation, focusing on scalable and secure delivery in a financial services environment.
Familiarity with financial messaging protocols (e.g., FIX) and/or KDB/q is a plus, enabling better domain integration and technical impact.
