Lead software integration, feature enablement, and performance optimization of Silicon One networking solutions across Cisco and open-source Network Operating Systems.
Triage and resolve complex customer software and networking issues in development, qualification, and production environments involving L2/L3 forwarding, QoS, traffic and congestion management, and load-balancing.
Contribute to automation, validation, testing frameworks and participate in design reviews to enhance software quality and deployment efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field with 10+ years of software development experience, OR Master's degree with 8+ years experience.
Strong software development skills in C++ and Python on Linux-based systems.
Experience with networking software development, integration, or debugging using SDKs and networking abstraction layers such as Switch Abstraction Interface (SAI).
Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols, Network Operating Systems, QoS, traffic management, congestion management, and load-balancing technologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in integrating and optimizing software for high-performance switching platforms and networking ASICs in large-scale cloud, data center, or AI/ML environments.
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving complex networking software issues, with prior exposure to Cisco and open-source NOS like SONiC or similar.
Familiar with networking SDK development or integration for programmable silicon and has experience supporting customers or partners in deployment and operational environments.
