Director – Enterprise Data Engineering

Define and execute enterprise-wide data engineering strategy aligned to 2030 Data Strategy, delivering measurable business value via capability models and service tiers.

Build, lead, and scale a high-performing data engineering team managing end-to-end capabilities including acquisition, storage, ingestion, transformation, orchestration, CI/CD, containerization with technologies like Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT.

Govern and automate data engineering standards to ensure security, compliance, FinOps governance, performance SLAs/SLOs, and regulatory adherence across critical data domains.

15+ years of data engineering leadership experience at enterprise scale.

Expertise in Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, DataOps.live, SnowPark Container Services, Apache Iceberg, Snowflake Horizon, Snowflake Cortex, AWS S3.

Experience with data engineering lifecycle involving acquisition, storage, ingestion, transformation, orchestration, CI/CD, containerization; knowledge of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

Experience working in regulated industries with knowledge of Data Privacy, HIPAA, GxP, SOx compliance.

Experienced leader capable of building and scaling federated global data engineering services within complex, matrixed organizations.

Strong strategic planner with ability to translate long-term vision into service tiers, adoption roadmaps, and automation frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technology, finance, legal, and compliance teams to embed governance as code and ensure secure, compliant, cost-efficient solutions.
