Director, Software Development

Lead the global YourCause engineering organization, building and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality enterprise SaaS solutions with predictable, end-to-end delivery including development, operations, security, and reliability.

Drive technical strategy in collaboration with Product and Architecture teams, integrating AI to accelerate delivery and enhance quality, while embedding metrics-driven decision making and operational excellence.

Own engineering escalations, customer-facing commitments, and partner with Security, Compliance, and Payments to meet regulatory and operational controls for enterprise customers handling payments and data privacy.

15+ years of professional experience including 10+ years in engineering leadership managing managers and large teams (40+ engineers and architects).

7+ years experience delivering SaaS solutions at scale with end-to-end delivery accountability meeting SLAs.

Experience leading global, distributed engineering organizations and strong communication skills to influence technical and business stakeholders.

Experience with AI-driven development tools and adoption, leading teams in SAFe or comparable agile frameworks.

Experienced leader in large-scale enterprise B2B SaaS product delivery involving integrations like single sign-on, HRIS, payroll, and multi-tenant scale with peak seasonal loads.

Comfortable operating at the intersection of product, architecture, security, and compliance to meet stringent controls in payment or money-movement systems environments (preferred).

Proven ability to scale and shape emerging engineering sites in India with a focus on culture and talent development in a mission-driven or corporate social responsibility technology context (preferred).
