Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and prepayments for R&D Cost Controlling.
Review cost-center results, perform variance analysis, and escalate deviations or data-quality issues to Finance Partner.
Drive process improvements for reporting, reconciliation, and month-close via automation and advanced Excel/Power BI techniques.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline.
3–4 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Cost Controlling, FP&A, R2R, or General Accounting.
Hands-on experience in month-end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills; prior knowledge of project accounting and capitalization is required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced working in multinational corporations or Big 4, familiar with global governance, controls, and reporting timelines.
Ability to operate independently within cross-functional and international teams with strong ownership of deliverables.
Proficient in financial planning and consolidation tools (e.g., Jedox, Hyperion) and comfortable with audit processes and compliance requirements.
