Own end-to-end functional analysis and requirement definition for cards lifecycle processes including onboarding, issuance, authorization, transaction processing, clearing, settlement, and maintenance.
Bridge business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for system modernization, platform migration, and legacy system decoupling.
Drive functional validation across testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression), support agile delivery cycles, and provide post-go-live functional support including incident analysis and documentation updates.
Minimum Requirements
8 to 12 years of experience with strong expertise in cards domain, including issuing systems, authorization engines, transaction back-office, clearing & settlement, and scheme interfaces.
Experience as Functional Analyst in large-scale banking or cards transformation programs, preferably involving system modernization or migration.
Familiarity with Java, Kafka Streaming Platform, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, and React development environments.
Ability to operate effectively in agile, multi-vendor delivery environments and manage stakeholder communication.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong functional understanding of legacy and distributed payments architectures including batch, real-time, and API integrations, suited for transformation programs.
Experience collaborating closely with architects, product owners, developers, and testers ensuring functional coherence through design to deployment.
Proven ability to define complex functional flows, business rules, exception scenarios within cards and payments ecosystems and manage regulatory/scheme compliance aspects.
