Provide end-to-end L2 support for AVEVA PI System including incident resolution, root cause analysis, system maintenance, and minor enhancements.
Monitor PI system health, troubleshoot data gaps, latency, interface failures, and AF structure inconsistencies to ensure high system availability and data reliability.
Coordinate with L3 teams/vendors for complex issues and support GxP/regulated environments for continuous compliance and data integrity.
Minimum Requirements
1-3 years of experience with AVEVA PI System components including PI Data Archive (1+ years), PI Asset Framework (1+ years), PI Vision (2+ years), and PI Interfaces/Connectors (1+ years).
Hands-on skills in Windows Server administration and basic SQL querying and debugging for troubleshooting PI environments.
Mandatory completion of PI System Administration and Troubleshooting trainings (Basics, Beyond Basics, Status Monitoring).
Work Experience Required: 1-3 years relevant experience in PI System support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing incidents and problem-solving in AMS environments with a focus on time-series/historian data systems.
Capable of independently handling majority of L2 incidents with strong root cause analysis skills and proactive system monitoring.
Familiarity with regulated industries (preferably pharma), scripting (PowerShell/Python), and exposure to cloud environments (Azure/AWS) is advantageous.
