Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer (Search and Match)

Lead and contribute to data science projects using machine learning, NLP, and predictive modeling to enhance search and match functionalities.

Develop scalable data systems integrating large user data sets alongside system architects to improve product offerings.

Apply advanced LLM and vector search techniques to optimize search quality, including fine-tuning and semantic retrieval models.

Minimum 4.5 years of experience in software engineering with focus on search and match or related data science projects.

Expertise in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Hands-on experience with LLM/RAG for search quality, including query understanding, semantic retrieval, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.

Proficiency with search technologies like Solr, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch and backend frameworks like Flask, Gunicorn.

Experienced in building and optimizing classifiers and feature selection within scalable production environments.

Skilled in integrating multiple ML techniques with backend services to drive product development in large-scale, high-transaction systems.

Comfortable working cross-functionally with product and development teams to translate research insights into actionable data products and services.
