Project Lead (Search and Match)

Lead data science projects using NLP, large language models, machine learning, and predictive modeling to enhance existing products and develop new data-driven products.

Collaborate with system architects and cross-functional teams to develop scalable data systems and deliver end-to-end features improving user experience.

Manage and mentor a small team (2-5 members), handle project scheduling, risk identification, and drive timely resolution of issues.

8+ years of experience in data science or related fields with leadership responsibilities.

Expertise in Python and statistical/machine learning algorithms including regression, decision trees, neural networks, clustering, Bayesian stats, and deep learning.

Practical experience with large language models, prompt engineering frameworks (e.g., LangChain, crewai), RAG, semantic/vector search (Solr, OpenSearch, Elasticsearch), and vector databases.

Experience building and optimizing classifiers, embedding & vector search, distributed search systems, and backend technologies.

Experienced leader capable of managing small technical teams and mentoring data scientists.

Strong background in search and match systems leveraging large scale user data and advanced ML techniques including LLMs and prompt engineering.

Comfortable working in fast-changing priorities environments delivering scalable, product-centric data science solutions.
