Software Development Engineer II (Full Stack FE Heavy)

Design, develop, and enhance React-based web UIs for loyalty features like messaging, coupons, and earn/burn displays to ensure high performance and accessibility.

Develop and integrate Java/Spring Boot backend APIs to support frontend loyalty experiences, including checkout flows and gift card functionalities.

Own end-to-end feature delivery across full stack (~70% frontend, ~30% backend), including coding, reviews, testing, debugging, and incremental rollout, and collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable UI and API designs.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

2+ years of professional software development experience, including building web applications with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Hands-on experience developing and integrating Java-based APIs using Spring Boot, including understanding of API contracts and service/data model design.

Familiarity applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products, especially for personalized customer experiences or incentives.

Experience architecting and optimizing complex React applications at scale with focus on component architecture, state management, performance, and testing.

Ability to design and implement low-level system designs, API contracts, and data models emphasizing reliability and operational excellence for customer-facing web experiences.

Experience integrating AI/ML-enabled capabilities into web layers (e.g., dynamic incentives, personalized messaging) and safely operating these in production, plus familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and data-driven product refinement.
