Oversee and control data quality for Private Markets investment and operational data from external fund administrators and internal platforms, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Investigate and resolve data exceptions, perform reconciliations and variance analyses, document findings and escalations to leadership.
Support data governance standards, execute data-quality controls, maintain audit trails, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve data operating model and reduce manual processes.
Minimum Requirements
3-6 years of experience in investment management, fund administration, financial services or related complex data environments, preferably in Data/Fund/Investment Operations or fund accounting.
Working knowledge of Private Markets products and operational processes (e.g., private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, Information Systems or related discipline; professional qualifications (CA, CPA) preferred or in progress.
Strong Excel skills; familiarity with data analysis/query tools such as SQL and Private Markets/fund accounting platforms (eFront, Investran) preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced with end-to-end Private Markets data operations including capital activity, positions, cash, P&L, fees and NAV-related data reconciliation and exception management.
Skillful in root cause analysis, data governance execution (CDEs, data lineage, issue management), and maintaining disciplined control standards with clear documentation.
Able to collaborate effectively across global teams and external vendors, communicating complex data issues clearly and driving continuous improvements in data quality and process automation.
