IN_Bosch Rexroth India_Executive / Assistant Manager_Material Planner

Lead and develop the operative team handling Shared Material Planning and Supplier Management at Ahmedabad.

Optimize long-term material planning based on market forecasts, consumption, and capacity; negotiate effectively with suppliers for material preparation and capacity reservation.

Own escalation management for supplier delivery issues and deliver on KPIs set by DC-MH Central Logistics, including driving material projects to improve supply chain and supplier performance.

Minimum 5 years of team leading experience.

Bachelor's degree required; preferred majors: Mechanical, Trading, or Logistics.

Profound knowledge and experience in MRP II/SAP (MM module), lean logistics, Pull Systems including Kanban and Supermarket.

Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency with MS Office and SAP material planning tools.

Experienced in production or project management within supply chain or material planning environments.

Strong leadership capability with a focus on continuous improvement and logical problem solving.

Comfortable managing supplier relationships and contractual agreements; familiarity with German language is advantageous but not mandatory.
