Institutional Investment Operations Specialist

Support lifecycle activities and operational processes in institutional investment operations, focusing on securities borrow and lending (SBL) including borrows, returns, recalls, callbacks, and settlement monitoring.

Investigate and resolve trade breaks, unmatched trades, and settlement exceptions while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational risk management; collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Minimum 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience or equivalent based on work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Strong knowledge of securities borrow & lending lifecycle and related settlement processes, both domestic and international.

Experience with trade matching and settlement platforms like DTCC, Euroclear, or Clearstream.

Work Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years in Institutional Investment Operations.

Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end securities lending and stock loan operations with focus on exception and risk management.

Experience collaborating with multiple business functions including Trading, Risk, Compliance, and Asset Servicing in a global operational environment.

Ability to lead process optimization and automation efforts while providing subject matter expertise and mentoring junior team members.
