Own end-to-end support and execution for Enterprise Applications including SAP, Manufacturing, Order to Delivery, and pricing applications in the global Caterpillar IT division.
Lead and manage multi-disciplinary global teams, vendor contracts, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on service delivery, automation, monitoring, and analytics.
Ensure delivery against service commitments, SLAs, operational resilience, and lead budgeting for the IT application portfolio area.
Minimum Requirements
15+ years of progressively complex experience in Information Services with staff and supervisory roles, including strategic management of budgets and plans.
Relevant master's or graduate degree in computer science or related field.
Experience managing vendor contracts and global teams across multiple locations.
Role requires 5-day onsite work in Bangalore, India with shift timing 01:00-10:00 PM IST; relocation and visa sponsorship not available; travel up to 25%.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong leadership in IT with the ability to align technology solutions with business strategy, including large scale application support and development experience.
Expertise with SAP functional and/or technical knowledge, AI-assisted development tools experience, and continuous improvement or Lean background.
Proven skills in managing cross-functional and global teams with strong stakeholder management and driving innovation and automation in IT service delivery.
