Benchmarking Analyst - Realized Prices

Compile, validate, and analyze benchmarking data on realized prices across downstream, midstream, and chemicals sectors to inform business decisions and competitive target setting.

Analyze price drivers (quality, geography, contracts, market exposure), quantify performance gaps, and identify value opportunities versus peers.

Deliver executive-level insights, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders supporting business performance improvement efforts.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.

5-10 years of industry experience in service provider roles, refinery, or consulting within downstream, midstream, and/or chemicals sectors.

Experience with financial analysis, product economics, financial modeling, and use of public company data (e.g., SEC reports).

Proficiency with third-party data sources like S&P Global, Opis, Solomon or equivalents.

Experienced in competitive benchmarking and benchmarking data management in oil & gas or chemicals industries with multi-sector focus (downstream, midstream, chemicals).

Capable of synthesizing large and complex financial and operational datasets into actionable, executive-ready insights and recommendations.

Skilled at engaging and collaborating with global and cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-supported business performance improvements.
