Provide decision and economic analysis consulting to support investment decisions and commercial negotiations across global upstream, midstream, refining, and lower carbon projects.
Lead framing sessions, develop and refine medium complexity financial and decision models incorporating various fiscal regimes, and ensure model accuracy and reliability.
Facilitate complex multi-functional discussions, perform qualitative and probabilistic analyses, communicate insights effectively to decision-makers, and participate in decision quality assurance activities including model reviews.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years work experience; 10 years preferred, ideally in upstream oil and gas industry.
Undergraduate technical degree (e.g. engineering) plus higher education in business, economics or finance.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including writing complex formulas; knowledge of economics, cash flow modeling, tax, and depreciation is required.
Work location: Bengaluru; standard hours with potential shifts aligned to global business needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in creating and reviewing decision analysis models for medium complexity investment opportunities involving fiscal/tax regimes (e.g. PSCs, JV agreements).
Strong facilitation skills capable of leading cross-functional and complex discussions to shape analyses and align stakeholders.
Ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative analysis into clear, actionable insights for leadership and influence investment decisions.
