Manager Threat Research (Integration-Detections)

Lead and manage a detection engineering team responsible for developing and delivering high-quality detection content across multiple telemetry sources for XDR coverage.

Define and execute six-month product and technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and customer needs.

Own detection quality metrics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in detection efficacy and team delivery velocity.

10+ years in cybersecurity with a strong focus on detection engineering, threat detection, or security analytics at scale.

3+ years of management or team lead experience building and scaling high-performing cybersecurity or detection engineering teams.

Mandatory location: Permanently located in Bengaluru, India.

Professional security certifications required (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, GCED, GREM, OSCP).

Demonstrated expertise in handling diverse telemetry types including endpoint, network, cloud, identity, and email for detection development and correlation.

Proven ability to lead Agile development practices and improve team velocity and delivery predictability in detection engineering.

Strong technical influence evidenced by public talks, published research, open-source contributions, and a history of mentoring and developing detection engineers into senior roles.
