Senior Systems/Software Engineer - Performance Test and Analysis

Lead performance engineering efforts for HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 Object and File Storage products, including defining performance strategies and KPIs.

Design, execute, and automate comprehensive performance and regression testing; analyze and troubleshoot system-wide performance bottlenecks.

Influence architecture and product design through data-driven performance analysis; develop automation and benchmarking tools using Python.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in performance engineering, storage systems, distributed systems, or related technical domains.

Deep expertise in computer architecture, Linux OS internals, distributed systems, storage, networking, and performance benchmarking.

Role is onsite at HPE office; no explicit mention of notice period.

Experienced technical leader actively engaged in hands-on performance testing and problem solving in enterprise storage or distributed systems products.

Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills capable of influencing architecture and engineering priorities through data.

Skilled in developing automation frameworks and benchmarking tools, with ability to collaborate across disciplines and mentor peers.
