Own and manage a portfolio of key aerospace accounts including OEMs, Tier-1s, and system houses across airframe, engine, avionics, and electronic systems segments.
Drive supplier approval processes: get Frigate on approved vendor lists, manage audits, qualification steps from tooling to flight-critical parts, and handle export documentation including first article inspection packs and material traceability.
Lead sales activities by bringing in RFQs, collaborating with costing engineer on quotes, interfacing directly with customer design and quality teams from early stages, and owning delivery, quality escalation, and payment follow-ups for accounts.
Minimum Requirements
Mechanical or production engineering degree.
6–12 years of work experience in aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing.
Proven understanding and experience with supplier approval processes, audits, and registration packs.
Based in Bangalore or Hyderabad preferred, with willingness to travel 12–15 days per month.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in supplier approval either from buyer, supplier quality engineer, program manager, or supplier side role with insights into audit and registration documentation.
Technical proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and evaluating machining vendors’ quality.
Ability to manage detailed account metrics (vendor registrations, gross margins) beyond maintaining relationships, indicating a results-driven and operationally focused approach.
