About This Role
- Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration, patching, and routine operations across cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-prem infrastructure.
- Convert manual operational tasks into automated, tested, reusable playbooks and scripts, aiming to reduce manual interventions, ticket volume, and repeat incidents.
- Implement event-driven, self-healing automation using tools like Ansible Automation Platform integrated with observability solutions (Datadog, Prometheus, etc).
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in infrastructure, operations, or automation engineering.
- Proficient scripting in at least one: Python, PowerShell, or Bash; experience with configuration management tools ideally Ansible.
- Working knowledge of Linux or Windows server administration and at least one public cloud platform (Azure or AWS).
- Experience using Git for version control; bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in automation-first operational roles reducing manual work in enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Comfortable working in agile teams under senior guidance and handling automation lifecycle from development to incident response.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), event-driven automation, and observability tools for proactive infrastructure management.
