Automation Engineer

Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, configuration, patching, and routine operations across cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-prem infrastructure.

Convert manual operational tasks into automated, tested, reusable playbooks and scripts, aiming to reduce manual interventions, ticket volume, and repeat incidents.

Implement event-driven, self-healing automation using tools like Ansible Automation Platform integrated with observability solutions (Datadog, Prometheus, etc).

2-4 years of professional experience in infrastructure, operations, or automation engineering.

Proficient scripting in at least one: Python, PowerShell, or Bash; experience with configuration management tools ideally Ansible.

Working knowledge of Linux or Windows server administration and at least one public cloud platform (Azure or AWS).

Experience using Git for version control; bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related field.

Experienced in automation-first operational roles reducing manual work in enterprise infrastructure environments.

Comfortable working in agile teams under senior guidance and handling automation lifecycle from development to incident response.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), event-driven automation, and observability tools for proactive infrastructure management.
