Design and own architecture of scalable backend AI/ML systems integrating LLMs, agentic workflows, and ML models using Python and cloud-native services.
Lead deployment, optimization, and scaling of ML models and maintain cloud infrastructure (Terraform, Helm) on GCP/AWS.
Provide technical leadership on client-facing projects, contribute to product architecture, mentor engineers, and handle incident management.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Physics.
8+ years of engineering experience with backend systems and architectural ownership.
Strong Python programming skills with experience in microservices, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
Must be based in Mumbai (onsite).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building production-grade AI/ML backend systems with cross-functional collaboration (Data Science, Platform teams).
Able to lead technical strategy and mentoring, managing complex architectures in enterprise/cloud environments.
Skilled communicator translating technical trade-offs to leadership and handling high-impact incident triage and root cause analyses.
