Lead the technical direction and engineering efforts for Bitwarden's Passkeys team focused on WebAuthn and FIDO2 credential provider implementation across browser, desktop, and mobile.
Design, build, maintain, and test Rust-based implementations of WebAuthn/FIDO2 credentials, including secure storage and interoperability with platform credential APIs.
Manage team technical roadmap, unblock engineers, collaborate with other Tech Leads across teams, and represent the Passkeys domain in technical discussions.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years experience as lead or team lead, with expertise in production Rust development including libraries, bindings, and FFI.
Experience designing and implementing standards or protocols from specifications, with strong testing discipline against real-world implementations.
Working knowledge of applied cryptography, including public key cryptography and key handling.
Experience developing complex user interaction flows in Angular and native OS (Windows, MacOS, Linux) using native OS APIs.

Strong emphasis on long-term, maintainable, and secure software design, especially in sensitive security domains.
Experience collaborating across teams, conducting thorough code reviews, and communicating technical concepts authoritatively.
