Senior Technical Lead Manager

Lead and manage an engineering squad with end-to-end accountability for roadmap, budget, and delivery commitments.

Hands-on technical role involving system design, coding, code reviews, and active use of AI-assisted development tools in Java/Spring microservices.

Drive technical strategy for complex, cross-cutting problems and ensure production stability, performance, and quality for squad services.

14+ years of engineering experience with proven backend system and distributed services design in production.

Strong hands-on expertise in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and microservices architecture at a senior individual contributor level.

Experience managing engineering teams including hiring, mentoring, and performance reviews; proven budget and cross-group commitment ownership.

Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with containerization and infra-as-code (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Terraform).

Experienced in combining deep technical hands-on involvement with people and program leadership at a senior engineering management level.

Familiarity and practical integration experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) in daily engineering workflows.

Proven ability to handle complex stakeholder management across product, sales, and engineering, and operate with high autonomy under ambiguous conditions.
