Ab Initio Tech Lead Analyst- Vice President

Lead application systems analysis and programming activities focused on ETL pipeline design and development using Ab Initio and migration to Python.

Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.

Serve as technical advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, ensuring adherence to architecture standards and overseeing coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.

13+ years of professional software/data engineering experience with deep ETL expertise.

Hands-on experience with Ab Initio (graphs, plans, PDL, DML) and designing ETL pipelines; experience migrating from Ab Initio to Python workloads.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.

Knowledge of CI/CD practices, including Git workflows, automated testing, artifact/version management, and deployment experience with containers (Docker) and cloud data platforms.

Experienced in large-scale data processing including file-based and streaming pipelines with Kafka integration.

Demonstrated strong design thinking skills spanning discovery to testing with users, accompanied by clear documentation and storytelling.

Skilled in stakeholder management with excellent communication tailored to different audiences.
