Lead documentation strategy and execution for complex SaaS product areas, ensuring content clarity, accuracy, and customer focus.
Define and implement information architecture, content models, structured content standards, and maintain AI-ready documentation workflows including agent instructions and prompt libraries.
Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Design, Support, Customer Success, and other teams to embed documentation into product development and automate documentation processes including CI/CD workflows.
Minimum Requirements
7–10 years of experience in technical writing, content engineering, or product documentation in complex software/SaaS environments.
Strong expertise in documentation strategy, information architecture, content models, and content standards across products or domains.
Proven experience with Docs-as-Code, Git/GitHub, structured authoring (XML/DITA), and documentation automation including CI/CD publishing, testing, and deployment workflows.
Understanding of AI/LLM concepts, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI-assisted content workflows, and how content is consumed by AI systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in leading documentation strategy for SaaS products with strong technical writing and editing skills transforming complex technical concepts into customer-focused content.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams in a highly collaborative environment.
Proficient in building AI-ready documentation and automating documentation processes to support next-generation AI-powered product experiences.
