Engineering Lead Analyst

Lead end-to-end operations and engineering for software defined storage (SDS) and cloud object storage, ensuring availability, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Create and execute complex project plans for infrastructure upgrades, service improvements, and problem resolution, including conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and automation of repetitive tasks.

Provide technical and strategic direction to teams, act as a subject matter expert (SME), and drive compliance with IT policies and risk management protocols.

12-15 years of relevant experience in Storage Operations or Engineering with expertise in software defined storage (Dell PowerFlex, PowerScale, IBM Cloud Object Storage, NetApp StorageGrid) and SAN/storage platforms (Dell EMC PowerMax/Unity, IBM A-Series, Hitachi).

Proficiency in automation and scripting: shell, Perl, Python, Ansible (certification required), C, JavaScript, PowerShell, and web technologies (Angular, Vue, HTML, CSS).

Solid knowledge of OS platforms including RHEL, IBM AIX, Windows, virtualization platforms, and storage networking (Cisco, Brocade switches).

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent; project management experience with complex datacenter/storage infrastructure refresh projects.

Experienced senior technical leader with deep expertise in SDS, SAN, and storage replication technologies in large-scale complex or financial services environments.

Operates with autonomy making independent judgements on engineering decisions, risk assessments, and compliance management.

Able to drive operational improvements, automate processes, lead multi-disciplinary and virtual teams, and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
